Hey there, I've had my Cyberpower 1000va AVR for about four years now. Lately, I've seen it lose its charge completely and shut down during power spikes. I know Cyberpower isn't the most reliable brand, so is this typical for its age? Should I go all in and replace it, or just swap it out? Thanks!

It depends on whether it's an offline/standby UPS. The battery functions mainly as a switch, activating only when required. More sophisticated UPS systems perform continuous conversions.
