Hey there! I’m looking for some thoughts on why the UPS is acting up despite being new. We’ve already talked to our local building support and they confirmed the outlets were fine, but we’re still seeing problems. Could you help us understand what might be going on with the UPS itself? We’re curious about any issues it might have and how to address them.

Yes, the batteries are indeed charging.

Are you certain the correct connections are made to the UPS? Not every outlet offers battery backup.

Our simulated power outage also makes sense because it maintained over 30 minutes of uptime. It’s a bit puzzling when real blackouts occur and the UPS stops working.

The manual shows the ToRobot in picture 'E' only at the top outlets. This suggests that the lower outlets may not be connected to battery backup.

The two designated slots labeled E are connected to the battery backup. Could you describe the simulated power outage that missed this connection?

Attempting the simulation once more, as we missed the connection location.

I ran a simulated power outage, connected the monitor under the outlet labeled E, and the system unit above it marked E—everything seemed normal. Now I’m even more puzzled. HAHAHAH

On the device itself, there may be markings indicating which ports serve as battery backup and which are protected against surges.

It's interesting. APC's backing seems a bit delayed—I sent them some insights, but I haven't received a reply since last week. We've received a large number of APC UPS orders, but that's it. Thanks ToboRobot.
