I have two RX 470 graphics from Gigabyte. They aren’t showing up in the main PCIe lane on my motherboard. I’ve tried resetting CMOS, re-seating the GPU, and physically checking everything. The issue seems to occur only with the lower PCIe slot (x4), not the upper one. My main PC (PC1) runs a 2080 and works perfectly there, and other GPUs in that slot also function fine. On the other hand, my GFS PC with a 1070 doesn’t work at all in the same slot. I suspect the problem lies with the RX 470 itself. I’ve updated the BIOS and ran benchmarks while it was in the lower PCIe lane; nothing overheats or shows errors. It doesn’t seem like a BIOS corruption, but I wonder if a previous mining update might have been removed during the vBios update. Could be that the mining software was stripped away. Notes: On PC1 the upper lane is 4.0 x16, lower is 3.0 x4. PC1 specs: I5 12400F, 2080, DDR4, 750W PSU, Gigabyte GX5 i5-11400Z490, 550 or 600W PSU. I own a 3rd rig with an I3 10100F and B560 chipset, only one PCIe x16 slot, which also failed. Any suggestions? Thanks a lot.

It seems like the card might be faulty, especially if a BIOS reflash fails to resolve the issue. It could simply be a defective product nearing the end of its gaming lifespan.
