5800x may become 5700x with eco mode enabled.
5700x can reach 5800x (very close) when using the Core optimizer and +150-200mhz OC.
5800x offers the optimal balance, performing better than 5700x after applying the Core optimizer.
Both options are excellent; I’m currently seeing my 5700x at 16000 in R23, just slightly above a stock 5800x.
The confusion stems from the idea that larger numbers indicate better performance, which is why higher models like the 5800X are preferred. The 5700X came out afterward because manufacturers often release newer versions to showcase improvements or address specific needs.
Alternate case option:

If your power supply is older than three years, it’s not advisable. It’s recommended to purchase a unit that is currently in production:
Cooler Master MWE 750 - V2 Full Modular Gold 80 Plus ATX Power Supply
MWE GOLD 750 - V2 FULL MODULARFull Modular 80 Plus Gold Atx Power Supply Unit
Features include 80 Plus Gold efficiency, two EPS connectors, a 120mm HDB fan, and high-temperature resistance. It comes with a 5-year warranty.
Power UpThe MWE Gold - V2 (Full Modular) represents the next phase in Cooler Master’s product lineup.
If you have the budget, consider the 5800X3D from the US. The X3D model is currently unavailable in India. Since this will be the final upgrade for the AM4 platform, selecting the top chip offers the best long-term performance.
5700x is merely a lower binned version but offers a cooler alternative. The 5800x lacks around 100-200MHz of top boost. 5700x was released later, which aligns with AMD's usual strategy to sell and profit more from the 5800(x) while gathering enough lower binned units for resale. This approach is standard among manufacturers. In either scenario, it stands out significantly compared to 2600x.
I have a Deepcool AS500 Plus, it performs well with the 5700x stock, maxing out at 72°C when overclocked to 5800x specs. The AK620 would likely outperform it.
