Upgrading your PC hardware might lead to issues with Windows 10.
Hello, at the beginning of next month I plan to upgrade my CPU/motherboard. Microsoft sees this as a "major" change, assigning a different unique ID and disconnecting it from my Windows 10 setup, which means my Windows 10 copy won’t be authentic. I’m considering reinstalling Windows 8.1 with a genuine license and then upgrading to Windows 10 once more. What do you think?
