So it seems we're testing every operating system we have? They keep updating and adding features. I've been using Windows 11 for more than a year now, except for the taskbar tweaks I don't like. It's been functioning well for me. Don't misunderstand, they should organize things better, like the different configuration menus (old vs modern). I'm not against people criticizing Windows, but the person asking this is treating it like a beta product, which doesn't seem right.
I could switch to Windows 11 just to annoy those who keep telling everyone otherwise.
Windows 11 feels more like a Windows version of Mac OS in terms of the interface, which is really poor. It's as if you're switching to an older version like ME, Vista or 8.0 just because you don't want to upgrade.
He won’t see any real improvement or useful tools. He might run into issues when trying to use Win11 on an unsupported system, and then he’ll end up asking the same forum questions about fixing them. There’s no real value here. At most, it could be a minor tweak to the interface with nothing else added. I offered my perspective, but I don’t really care what he decides. Whether he chooses it or not, people should be warned not to rely on others for handling the fallout.
