Hey there, I understand you're in a bit of a transition. You're moving from an old Z79 setup to a new X570 platform, which includes a fresh CPU, MOBO, RAM, and switching to NVME storage. Since this is your first time doing something like this, it's totally normal to feel unsure. Let me help clarify the steps and questions you might have.

You'll want to confirm whether your current Windows needs updating for the new hardware, and how to safely migrate your boot files. NVME drives typically require specific tools for formatting and data transfer, so it's good to research those. If you're unsure about the process, reaching out for detailed guidance would be wise.

This approach works well for the Windows setup. For a clean install, transferring your data to a portable drive is a solid alternative.

And as usual, our "clean install" specialist responds quickly using the only approach he understands. Sure there are other ways like scanning your system, restoring it to an NVMe drive and restarting on a new machine, but you consistently get the reply "made clean install" from someone who uses that phrase as an alternative to "first!"
