In short, my PC was attacked by malware, which makes me think it's a good chance to upgrade from my Ryzen 5 3400G. I'm not sure what the best choice would be, so I'm here to figure it out.

What are you combining it with? Is it functioning at least until now? Just hold off on Zen 3. It seems to be handling things so far.

The issue is clear. If you give it some time, the Ryzen 4000 desktop CPUs will arrive, offering a major improvement. If you need it sooner, opt for the Ryzen 3600.

I understand my motherboard handled the heat from what I heard, so I'm planning to check if my friend allows me to test his GPU to see if I should replace it as well.
