I recently switched to fiber optic and installed an Asus RT AC66U router that supports dual bands. My main concern is whether using the 5 GHz frequency band—available on most modern phones—requires adjusting my Wi-Fi printer settings. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your help. Have a great day!

Printer functions properly with both bands. It communicates with the router, not the phone.

The router doesn't separate the 5GHz and 2.4Ghz networks unless you enable it. Let your 5GHz device connect to the 2.4Ghz printer.

Check which printers your device accepts. Also, wireless printers often come with some issues.
