Hello everyone! I attempted to look for similar posts but wasn't successful. I'm hoping you can assist me here. My goal is to upgrade my GPU for better performance within a 300€ budget, especially for games that demand more memory. This would let me enjoy newer titles with higher settings without compromising the experience. Also, I've noticed some stuttering or lag in games like CSGO, but I'm not sure if it's related to the GPU. In my recent benchmark test (5 minutes ago): https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/25817112 Additional details: - i7-3770k with Corsair Hydro series H60, 120mm — not overclocked yet — Display: BenQ ZOWIE XL LCD, 1920x1080 at 144 Hz. — Power: Corsair RM650 80 Plus — Do you think this setup can support a new GPU? — OS: Windows 7 Home edition. Feel free to share more info if needed! BR, Pike
Additionally, boost the i7 a bit. It's quite outdated and not up to speed with today's processors such as Zen 2 and Coffee Lake.
This appears to be a top choice for your needs. Based on the German market, it should fit your budget well.
Check RX5700, if you want to overclock just enter BIOS at startup, gently push the CPU, then start up. Use CineBench to test stability and temperature; continue pushing if stable, stop otherwise.
You could use these GPUs for a while, depending on your system setup. Your 650W power supply should handle them, but make sure everything fits and runs smoothly. Upgrading parts like the CPU later is generally straightforward if you're comfortable with it.
