Hello. It seems some information I heard might be outdated. Upgrading a graphics card after updating to a newer system isn't necessarily impossible, though licensing rules can affect compatibility. If you plan to run Windows 10 and don't want to use the free upgrade, make sure your hardware meets the requirements before proceeding.

you can update your system settings to use the ssd without reinstalling. check if your windows version supports ssd optimization and follow the recommended steps in the settings or manufacturer’s guide. this will ensure better performance and compatibility after upgrading hardware.
