Hello!
My GPU is failing and I'm trying to find a suitable replacement that matches my setup. It's quite challenging for me, and I'm not sure where to start. I'm mainly into CS2 and League of Legends, and I don't have the budget for a new system right now. Would anyone have some suggestions? Ideally, not an SLI configuration, just a single card.

SLI has been inactive for a long time. I'm cautious about using that PSU. It doesn't seem very good quality, and it might have caused your GPU issues. Also, I need to consider the price.

The system was released in 2018 when SLI was still relevant 🤔. I want to stay within a budget of 400€!

Are both of them gone? How much are you prepared to invest?

Yep! I checked both cards in another system and found nothing.
Looking forward to staying under 400€.

RX 9060XT with 16GB would be a suitable choice, offering roughly twice the performance of a single GTX 1070.
The RTX 4060 Ti with 16GB is a bit over budget but provides comparable results.
The RTX 4060 Ti with 8GB would stay within budget, though having less VRAM might become an issue later, unless you're mainly playing CS2 and joking around.

A GPU in that price range is manageable, but including a PSU would add a bit more to the cost.

I agree you should get a fresh PSU. Your previous one probably caused issues with your two GTX 1070s. A Corsair RM750x would make sense as an upgrade.

8600K represents a significant constraint for most modern GPUs, particularly in CPU-intensive titles such as CS2 and LoL.

However, having no GPU at all is even better, as seen in this situation. Their sluggish RAM is actually a bigger issue than the CPU.
