Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit SP1
Intel Core 2 Duo E7500 @ 2.93GHz | 59 °C
Wolfdale 45nm Technology
2.00GB Single-Channel DDR2 @ 333MHz (5-5-5-15)
Intel Corporation DG31PR (J3E1) | 72 °C
Quick overclocking guide for my E7500 is essential.
I want to easily push the clock speed up.
I have a budget PSU with one Molex from the PSU and another from the DVD burner.
I also need an inexpensive CPU cooler.
The thermal paste is dried out, and the fins are damaged.
Urgent solution needed!

Forget about any good overclocking options on that motherboard. They don’t have enough choices to get a stable boost.
Regarding the cooler, and yes, you should...

Forget about any solid overclocking options on that motherboard – they don’t offer much stability.
Regarding the cooler, yes, you’ll need a replacement if your temps are this high. Running it at such heat is risky and will likely damage the system.
This unit is cheap enough but of good quality and fits your setup perfectly:

For this model, don’t bother with serious overclocking on that motherboard—they lack the stability options.
Regarding the cooler, yes, you’ll need a replacement if your temperatures are this high. Running it at such heat is risky and will likely damage it.
This unit is decent enough but of good quality and fits your setup perfectly:

happy days
P.S. Love your machine in your signature. It sounds like it’s running like a beast!
I found out I can’t overclock the E7500 on that board after searching extensively, but I did find an OC guide—thank you! My new build is still terrible compared to my old one Smile lol:!
