RAM issues can appear unexpectedly. You currently have 2x8gb of memory, and your motherboard supports two slots. Adding another 2x8gb should be safe as long as the slots are compatible and properly installed. Let me know if you need further details!

That is what you want.. The internal sub timings are set for two sticks right now, they will probably be too tight to run 4 sticks. Clearing the cmos will allow it to set its own subs to get up and running. You can try it either way, no guarantee it will work one way or the other anyways
