It relies on your computer's behavior in games and whether it's constrained by CPU power. Which titles are you using? Are there any that consistently struggle with low graphics without needing lower settings?

Yes, but only if you secure the 10600K for under $100. Then trade in the 10105f. The overall value adds up. I changed the setup to use a 1070 GPU, which performed significantly better in Ark, Minecraft, and Apex. The 10105f is decent on the CPU, but it lacks strength.

CPU handles only a limited number of frames, but if the GPU can't complete those frames, extra preparation won't significantly boost FPS.

I play games where switching between high and low settings has little effect on my FPS. It seems hard to locate something under 100$.

Prices have increased lately. I bought mine for $110 last year and was expecting a similar deal or a better one. The 10400f is currently around $100-$110, which might help with your lows. You can compare the 10105f for $50 as another option.
