Hello everyone, I'm considering upgrading from the Dell Precision 7720 7th gen to the 7730 8th gen. The 7720 has these specifications: Core i7 7820HQ, Quadro P3000, 512GB SSD, 32GB RAM. The 7730 comes with a Core i7 8850H, 64GB RAM, 512GB SSD, and Quadro P4200. I want to know if this change is worthwhile in terms of performance, especially regarding the six-core i7 8850H and how it affects loading heavy software. Please let me know your thoughts.

The loading speed variation will be small. It depends mainly on the SSD, and there isn't a big gap between the different types. You won't see a significant difference with programs that use multiple cores.
