He’s been using the SSD for six months and wants to move his whole installation there without losing everything. We’re looking for a way to clone the current setup onto the new drive, avoiding a full reinstall. Is there a reliable cloning tool available or should we consider a complete overhaul?
Macrium Reflect is likely the top choice. It functioned well for me.
He aims to swap the platter drive for an SSD to eliminate the Blacx choice entirely.

He preferred to move the installation to another storage without reinstalling, as he had more than 150 gigabytes of games. Instead of redownloading everything and updating again, he opted to transfer the setup using Partition Wizard, just as mentioned. The SSD was purchased specifically for the operating system, and since it came with a nearly brand new 1TB platter, he didn’t want to discard it. He also owns a case with a docked drive, eliminating the need for a separate hard drive dock.
