Hello, I'm using an Intel 12400 on an MSI B760M board. I swapped my 16GB 3000MHz setup for a 32GB 3600MHz model. Performance is slightly lower, but it seems to run better at 3200MHz CL16 than at 3600MHz CL18. I'm currently at 3200MHz with various voltages. Do you have a simple suggestion to improve it? I would verify the status at 3600 and ensure you remain in Gear 1. If confirmed, disable XMP and apply the Memory Try It feature to set 3600 CL18. This approach may let the motherboard manage suboptimal XMP settings better.

I might have achieved that. Currently I should be at 3600MHz with settings 18,20,20,40,60,2T Gear and 1.36V. It seems to perform slightly better on the CPU Z bench. Stability remains a concern—I still need to verify XMP is active when I try it. Edited June 20, 2023 by leclod

No problem, quick blue screen in 3D Mark Now. Running at 3600MHz with settings 18 22 22 42 64 2T Gear 1 and 1.36V... Blue Screen again, but Gear 1 doesn’t seem to work at that speed. Updated June 20, 2023 by leclod

Many 12400s aren't compatible with Gear 1 at 3600. You might have one of them. Lower it to 3466 or 3200 and stop experimenting. Using VDDQ TX can sometimes help, but it usually doesn't. I wouldn't waste time unless you're specifically aiming for 3600.
