Using Windows 10 Pro, I'm upgrading most components but keeping my GPU intact. I aim to reduce the need for a full reinstall by moving everything over smoothly. My current C drive holds 250GB, and I need a 2TB drive. Ideally, I want to expand the existing partition to fill the new drive without creating a separate partition. While I can transfer the Windows install and drive data easily, I'm avoiding splitting the remaining 1.75TB into a new partition. My goal is to simply grow the 250GB space to match the new drive size.

It's suggested to reinstall Windows when you switch your CPU unless it's from the same brand and generation. If you prefer to stay, simply clone your drive and use software such as Aomei or Macrium to expand partitions.
