Hello everyone, I need some assistance with overclocking this processor. It's a 6-year-old model from 2017. I'm not very experienced in this area and only tried it once before. I'm curious about how high I can push the core frequency (aiming for around 4.6 GHz) and what the power voltage settings are like. Thanks in advance for all your help. My current specs are:

- PSU: Cooler Master GX750 (750W)
- GPU: Gigabyte GTX 950 OC Xtreme edition
- CPUAMD: FX 4300 Black Edition
- MOTHER: MOBO GA-970-DS3P
- CPU cooler: Hyper T4 from Cooler Master

I really appreciate your replies.

The cooler is poor for overclocking and isn't a great board, it only features a 4+1 power phase design.

The cooler isn't suitable for overclocking and isn't an excellent board, just featuring a 4+1 power phase design. Should I avoid any overclocking attempts?

I suggest no, it doesn't add value with the cooler and board combo.
