Hey everyone. I'm switching from my 2080ti to a 5080 after installing a new GPU. Once I did the DDU uninstall, I managed to boot into safe mode. But when I install Nvidia drivers, the process freezes and the fans on the GPU stop while the case fans and lights stay on. Only by holding the power button and turning it off can I get back to safe mode and try the uninstaller again. I've also tested other Nvidia driver versions without success. The MSI Meg Creation X399 Mobo Bios version E7b92ams.120 with Threadripper 2950x and Corsair hx1200 PSU is what I'm using.

I also needed to bypass the window screen by switching to pcie 2.0.
