I was using a monitor while playing Baldur's Gate 3 with a friend. When I stopped and tried to shut down, I saw something unusual. Is this something to worry about? I haven't noticed any drop in performance, but I don’t want my CPU to work harder than usual.

You're worried about overheating issues. Temperatures seem normal, with no need to worry about CPU or GPU exceeding 80°C. The 80°C peak is low and safe, and the recorded maximums are just the highest readings from the monitor while it was operating.

Old issue with HWMonitor. Once I experienced similar readings, showing 350,000W for the CPU and 250,000W for the GPU. The program works okay but the peak outputs drop significantly when the system powers down.
