I assembled my initial PC about a year back using an AMD APU. Now I'm exploring options for a new CPU, RAM, and other components. I purchased a USB Windows 10 drive for £100 and it's already running on my current build. How will that affect installing Windows 10 on my upcoming PC?
It was likely a retail version. Download the ISO from Microsoft and use your product key again.
It should only apply unless you purchased an OEM system builder license. A few shops do this even though it isn't officially permitted.
The label clearly states Windows 10 Home. There’s no mention of a system builder.
It should be presented as a retail product since OEM versions are sold in boxes instead of envelops.
