I upgraded my system to 128GB of RAM from 64GB, using the Trident Z RGB module. Initially everything worked smoothly, but when I power it off and turn it back on, it briefly restarts before stabilizing. The issue seems to occur during boot, though I’ve noticed it sometimes doesn’t power on at all. I also have a 140mm Noctua 3000RPM exhaust fan that stopped working on startup, but pressing it with a finger fixes the problem. It’s possible the higher RAM is causing instability or power demands. I’ve switched to a Corsair fully modular 1000W PSU and everything functioned properly before that change. I’m currently running a 3900MHz motherboard, which supports certain speeds only when all four channels are active. Previously, my 3200MHz setup worked fine at 3000MHz. If you need more details, just let me know—I’ll share what I find. I’m hoping to avoid those repeated boot errors and ensure a stable system.

It seems the system is re-learning every time it starts. Did you reset the CMOS after replacing the RAM? You might also want to increase the DRAM Current Capability in the BIOS from the standard 100% to around 110% or 120% (this adjustment works best with 4x16GB modules). Otherwise, the PC may shut down because the RAM isn’t receiving enough power.

I removed the battery and shorted the pins while it was off and unplugged. Just need it to stop, lol. I was great before with the 64g kit I had. The BIOS has one update, but people on Reddit say the latest version is causing stability problems. I’m running the newest BIOS update now. My system specs are: ASUS Prime X570 Pro MB, Ryzen 9 3900X CPU, NZXT Kraken Elite 360 RGB 3600 RAM (4x32), Corsair 1000W PSU, 3060 12G GPU, Intel 512GB M.2 for OS, 1TB M.2 for favorite games, plus a 112TB +1TB +1TB HDD with 7200 RPM for backup and extra storage. Front has 3 120mm Noctua 3000RPM fans, back has 3 140mm 3000RPM exhaust fans.
