Hello, I recently switched to a Corsair iCUE H100i RGB PRO XT cooler and received a boot sequence. I’m not seeing any drives or the manager in my boot list. Could you help explain what might be going on? I’ve double-checked all connections and made sure everything is properly plugged in. Also, I tried booting without the SATA cable for the cooler to rule out a PSU issue.

Have you adjusted the cooler too much? It might be worth loosening it a bit only if that’s the only change. Unless you’ve dropped something.

I probably over-tightened it, and even after trying to loosen it, the issue remains. Could this mean I caused permanent damage?

It would be odd for the cooler to tighten excessively, often causing damage—usually too much pressure leads to problems. Since you can access BIOS, it’s possible the drive failed by chance. Maybe try a different drive and ensure you’ve cleared the BIOS or reset it to the factory settings.

The issue hasn't been resolved yet. I'm still experiencing the same problem with my computer.

Consider removing your RAM and putting it back in correctly. Strange startup issues usually come from a loose RAM slot. It’s simple to misplace it during CPU cooler installation.
