I'm planning to install an SSD on my setup. That should be straightforward, I reviewed the tutorial. However, when I need to reinstall Windows and enter the activation code, will it still function? I thought I was limited to using it once, so re-entering it after activation on my mechanical hard drive won't work since that drive stays in my rig. EDIT: I'm also facing another issue. My old laptop still has W7 installed, but I no longer have its activation key. Using a friend's USB drive with a downloaded ISO, I reinstalled 32-bit Windows, but it requests the activation code which I don't possess. The one I received from "Keyfinder Program" before trying the reinstall was generic: 6rbbt-f8vpq-qcpvq-khrb8-rmv82. I wasn't aware of that. Now I'm stuck with a laptop that runs perfectly without a genuine Microsoft product installed.
