I made all the upgrades on my computer, including the storage. Windows says it isn’t activated, but it linked to my email. No watermarks are visible, and I’m still unsure what’s going on.

Sure thing, but that was definitely odd... I downloaded the Windows 10 updates myself. After restarting the PC, it needed to confirm my email and then re-activate. Finally, it let me proceed—though I was thinking I’d spend $10 on it. Phew!
