Hello, I’d like to boost my Corsair Value Select 16 GB (2x8) on the A320M HDV R.4.0 with the latest BIOS version 3.70. The CPU is a Ryzen 5 1600 and it’s not an AF chip. Since this RAM lacks a heatsink, I’m concerned about overheating during overclocking. Also, there’s no XMP profile available, so I’ll need to configure everything manually. Could you suggest safe settings for stable performance? Thank you!

install taiphoon burner and dram ryzen calculator. read the sticks in taiphoon burner and export the results. import them into the drm calculator and it will provide timings and voltages for use. don't worry about heat—with a good case airflow, you should be okay. this is essentially method 1 described below.

This can be tricky for a beginner who hasn't tried overclocking before. But thank you.

These values represent timing details you set yourself. For BIOS, use tCL, tRCDWR, and other latencies as they appear in your specs. The clock speed should match the recommended frequency for optimal performance.
