I thought I made the update, but it didn't save. It turned out to be a BIOS problem. After flashing the new motherboard and installing the updated 5GHz processor, the system started working. But when it tried to load Windows after a short delay, it froze. I checked various things and eventually found the issue was with the RAM. Replacing it with faster modules fixed the problem.
