To run Windows 7 Pro, simply enable it using the key from Reddit. With all updates applied, you can either upgrade to Windows 10 manually or reserve a copy. Win 10 is available for just 12 months, so I’d prefer it over Windows 7. The 5 dollars wouldn’t be worth it if I can’t reinstall it after a few years.

Upgrade your Windows 7 license to Windows 10 permanently. If your key becomes invalid, it’s similar to installing Windows 8 with a Windows 7 key.
