Are you sure you can proceed? You mixed in a product key for the Pro Edition, which triggered an activation error. If you want to return to Home Premium, you’ll need to reset your license or contact support for guidance.

You might prefer a lower tier simply because it offers sufficient performance without the higher costs.

Remove the unnecessary software you don’t need. The Pro version of Windows 10 includes tools that might seem helpful at first, but they’re rarely used and often hidden inside the system. It’s not worth downgrading just to eliminate the chance of useful functions. Performance in games won’t suffer, and it won’t take up additional storage space.

It's tough to remove those advanced business tools I don't need, and it seems to hinge on my strong desire to avoid anything unnecessary. If I have to run Windows, it must be as minimal as possible.

There’s a lot of functionality you won’t need, just like with Windows 10 home.

Windows 10 performs better on your PC than Windows 7 or 8, so reducing unnecessary features can improve efficiency. However, outcomes can differ from expectations.
