For optimal performance, new RAM should match the speed and latency of the existing memory. Based on the CPU, it might not support higher speeds when using four sticks, so consider disabling XMP or reducing the speed.

When attempting to secure the sticks, you need to ensure the first slot of the RAM stick remains in position. There may be a method to hold it securely without using them. Taping isn't recommended unless necessary. With only three sticks, stability will depend on proper placement and handling.
