Hi everyone, I need some guidance on handling video input and output with my Windows 11 setup. I own a Lenovo IdeaPad Gaming laptop (15th generation) with 32GB RAM, an SSD, and a 1TB USB-C SSD. I also have an Acer 144Hz monitor connected via DVI dual link. Recently, I discovered that using an HDMI 2.0 to DVI adapter won’t work because DVI dual link isn’t supported. Fortunately, my laptop has a USB-C 3.2 Gen 1 port which can handle video transfers. Can someone suggest a way to use this port with an adapter so I can achieve 144Hz at 1080p? Thanks for your help!
You might use a USB-C hub with an HDMI port. But I can't confirm if switching from HDMI to DVI-D will support 144Hz. Could be the reason you're avoiding it? Which connections does your ACER monitor provide?
