I don't understand your point. If you have the money, do what you want. You can get a marble island in the kitchen but don't know how to cook and just go out to eat—why not? Yes, if you have a budget, things that look good can cost more. This has always been the case and will stay that way. That's why we suggest using the best parts for price then spend on looks or balance. We also like checking the PC; it's part of the home, maybe a dust collector (a joke between me and my sister I say at our table on a coffee table—just dust collectors you have to clean weekly... she said it's for conversation). So, I might add my PC if needed... Anyway, I'm not going to win, but that's the point. Basically, the OP just wanted the slots full and said the money was for looks—it's like they already have a top-of-the-line PC and they probably won't use extra RAM. The OP will do what they want most likely and might buy more RAM later. Some people are good at buying new gear, using it a bit, and reselling it with a little loss, so who knows. Spending $100 on a top GPU to mess around and then moving on is worth it for them. We're just joking around here about these things. Not meant to be serious or harmful—just sharing what we think. It raised my concerns. I had numbers around 6200 or 7200, though I can't remember exactly. It appeared in my board list but wasn't stable. I've handled the 6000 well, but still experience occasional memory issues with BSODs before a clean install. This kind of problem makes me question whether it's a solid plan. Like having 18-inch rims on a 91 Civic—full flex counter support included.
