I was considering a RAM upgrade and wanted to confirm everything would function smoothly. The speeds on my motherboard are unclear, so I’m unsure whether 3200MHz or 2666MHz is better. I also need to verify SSD compatibility since my current setup includes an A320M-HDV card.

It’s safe to purchase the DDR4-3200 kit. In the worst scenario, you might need to adjust the frequency manually, which is straightforward—activate XMP and then lower it slightly, likely to DDR4-2933. Most Ryzen 2000 models can support DDR4-3200, though not all do, so compatibility depends on the specific chip. It’s still worth a try, especially for chips with multiple CCDs like your R5 2600, which gain significant performance from faster RAM. If you’re considering an SSD, the Samsung 970 EVO Plus is an excellent option as long as the price isn’t prohibitive. The main consideration is whether there are more affordable alternatives available.

I placed the order for the 3200MHz RAM and appreciated the reminder about the SSD price. I discovered a lower price elsewhere and chose that site, which sold it for 82 euros. Thank you for your assistance and for helping me save 16 euros!
