I have an Intel® Wireless-AC 9560 on my laptop, though I’m not sure it’s the best. Someone, could you assist me in finding a decent budget WiFi card? I’m not very familiar with network cards, but I really want to upgrade. Can I probably just buy a better one and install the drivers myself? Is that all it takes?

It varies based on your laptop; some models come with a soldered Wi-Fi card while others have a removable one. I recommend choosing a model featuring an Intel AX200 chip as a replacement.

Checking compatibility with your laptop is the best way to confirm. Look for details about supported Wi-Fi standards and ensure your device meets those requirements.

Check the laptop model online; if it mentions a slot, it should work fine.

Check the laptop's rear panel and look at the WiFi adapter. Identify its size and connector type. Determine if it can be swapped out easily. If unsure, snap a photo and share here. Remember, the Intel AX200 is a solid WiFi 6 card, but you'll get the best results only with a compatible WiFi 6 router or AP. The Intel AX210 is newer and supports WiFi 6e.
