I don’t expect major changes. The i7 should perform well, running boosted at 1.5x the i3’s speed with double the cores and threads. For small tasks, the i3 is operating near full capacity. I just want to see a bit more efficiency and smoother performance.

I added RAM and an i7 processor. I changed from the 4GB model to a 16GB version, which saved me some money. Chrome works better now since memory was fully utilized. The CPU upgrade was impressive—better than I thought it would be. It really makes the system feel faster when launching apps or browsing. Watching 1080p at 60fps is now achievable (possibly due to RAM limits). The machine booted up smoothly without issues. I’m starting with Guild Wars 2 and will test its performance. Thanks again for your advice! Cheers, DaYn
