I’m looking at an HP Slimline 290-p0043w that originally came with a single 4 GB DDR4 stick. The support page indicates it only accommodates up to 8 GB of memory in two slots, and there are references to higher capacities like 16 GB. I’m checking whether adding more RAM would be feasible and if the suggested options are suitable.

The initial versions perform better. It’s worth noting the storage is capped at 16GB, but that shouldn’t be an issue since we’re using a Celeron platform.

You're thinking about improving your system by replacing the CPU and adding more RAM.

Sure, I think swapping it out would be a good idea. Buying an i7 would be expensive. You probably want a budget-friendly gaming setup instead?

It focuses on running OBS for showing low-resolution videos across several screens while handling multiple audio tracks. The choice comes from its lightweight design and numerous USB connections.

What's the main problem right now? It seems the system may need extra GPU power for video output, possibly affecting performance.

I'll handle Python scripts needing significant memory for background tasks.
