Checking out a T5810 setup with a 1060 6GB and E5-1650 V3 processor, paired with the standard Dell cooler. Looking for a budget-friendly CPU cooler that could boost performance during overclocking. Also, some advice on upgrading the GPU to address the 6GB memory bottleneck with the 1060.

Did you verify if your motherboard can handle CPU overclocking? Most workstation PCs don’t include a board that supports this feature.

Typical Dell boards come with built-in coolers that are hard to replace unless you modify them yourself. If your chip is fixed, overclocking isn't possible without adjusting the base frequency. Most likely, the manufacturer's BIOS won't let you change that either.

The T5810 board doesn't appear to allow overclocking. The standard cooling fins (YH2R3) should handle any CPU up to 145 watts without issues.

I noticed several threads about the T5810 being boosted on the stock board, so I was curious.

I noticed this tower has been overclocked in some discussions. I was curious if there were any simple methods to achieve it.

I don't know if the cooler works well, but I've installed a GTX 1070 in a t5810 and ran it in game mode. Adding a blower 5700XT can cause bottlenecks in certain titles. In Hogwarts Legacy, my GPU usage is around 50%-60%.

Sure, I have a GTX 1060 at my place and was thinking about getting a 2070 in the future.
