Have you checked for thermal throttling? Which B550 model are we considering? Memory matters too—RAM speed and capacity can really impact performance. The Ryzen 5000 might struggle with slower RAM or single-channel configurations. And for the game selection, are we discussing motorsport 5 or Horizon 5? They’re quite different experiences. You haven't explored thermals. Consider installing hwinfo64 and running it in the background while gaming to observe the data. Check the CPU clock speed to detect throttling. I recently set up a PC with a 5600X and it kept around 4.3-4.5 GHz across most cores during demanding games. Performance varied depending on the game, especially CPU-heavy titles. You'll need to investigate further. Just note: I've been playing FH5 for a few months now—it's noticeably more CPU-intensive than expected, though it still runs smoothly on my 3800X and 3080. At MAX settings in 1440p, the lowest FPS I've seen is about 85-90. The absence of two cores shouldn't be a major concern.
