I own an i5 7400 that causes my GPU to struggle a lot (GTX 1660 gaming OC WindForce). I’m looking to upgrade but don’t know what parts to buy. Motherboard: MSI H110M PRO-VD (MS-7996). Budget: $444 or $326 USD.

Use the currency you're purchasing; converting it isn't useful. If you're focused, grab a 3300x when it's available.

3300X paired with a motherboard that matches your preferences. The 3300X doesn’t require a powerful VRM, but a solid motherboard offers better RAM support and easier CPU overclocking. Do you require Wi-Fi? Do you want multiple M.2 slots? Is your only PCI card the graphics card? Do you need a lot of SATA connections? Are you interested in RGB lighting?

I haven't found that CPU yet. I was planning to purchase one for a project with my kids, but it's not available in stock.

I'm not sure what the Wi-Fi part of a motherboard does or if it's better than just a regular internet cable. Yeah, average is probably enough. @Demonic Donut

Zen 3 is too costly. True, but it offers the best option.

You understand through evidence and observations. Even if it was true, by the release time OP is likely to have more funds.
