Consider a CPU compatible with AM4 and within your power range. Look for moderate performance options suitable for workstation tasks and gaming. Your existing B450 Aorus Pro WiFi setup remains unchanged.

The 1600 offers more overclocking potential than today’s processors. With strong cooling, it can reach high speeds comparable to mid-range chips. An Aorus B450 Pro includes the VRM needed for 3700 or even 3900 clocks without overclocking. It lacks the BIOS, but you can install it via the 1600 chip to enable new chips. You have two options: invest in water cooling, continue overclocking, or upgrade to a different CPU. Your decision.

A well-made loop can elevate a 1600 to the 3600 range when you have a golden chip. However, 3600s aren’t measured in beans. Are you testing the 1600 at a specific point?
