I own a Ryzen 3 2200G, a Gigabyte b450M DS3H, a Sapphire Radeon RX 570 4GB with 8GB RAM in dual-channel at 3000 MHz. I’m considering upgrading my CPU and have two options: the Ryzen 5 2600 or the Ryzen 7 2700. The 3600 model is about $70 more expensive, while the 2700 is currently on sale for around $1700, a bit pricier than the 2600. I mainly play games like GTA V, Minecraft, CS:GO, and Borderlands 3. Would you help me decide between these two models? I usually go with the 2700, but since my motherboard is entry-level, it might not be the most important factor. Let me know in the comments!

It probably won’t reach its maximum speed, but it should still function. I’d recommend the 2700 unless it’s significantly pricier than the 2600.
