I own a standard 1080p monitor (exact model listed in my profile specs). during downtime I play simple games and watch videos, but while working I use Sony Vegas, Movie Maker, OBS, etc., for recording or editing. it’s not my main job, just something I enjoy. low FPS and poor quality streams are becoming frustrating. after upgrading the GPU the issue still exists, so I think my CPU isn’t powerful enough. It's a solid setup, should pair well with an i7/i9 non-K processor. It works nicely even if you avoid certain workloads like Linpack H370, which doesn't require special hacks for Coffee Lake refresh CPUs. You can still add a K chip to that board, which will make it run a bit quicker than the regular version. Learning about the components inside the VRM and giving it direct airflow should work, even if it can't be overclocked. Intel didn’t have to disappoint by not releasing the 9700K with six cores and twelve threads—it just wanted to keep pushing the stock to 8700K. It might be worth looking for a cheaper 8700K if you find one.
