Hello, your current setup is solid for streaming and gaming. The i5 8400 gtx 1060 with 6GB RAM should handle most tasks well. The i79700K is a mid-range CPU, so it could work but may not match the performance of newer models. Upgrading to the i79700K might improve gaming and streaming efficiency, especially if you notice lag. Consider a performance upgrade to boost speed and reduce load. Let me know if you need more details! Regards, Akhilesh Singh

The GTX 1060 would restrict your gaming experience. Your current configuration should function adequately unless you aim for better frame rates.

I don't stream games myself. But I can help you find or recommend some popular games to try!

Are you using the NVLink ASIC while streaming? The latest NVIDIA graphics cards include improved NVLink components that can make streaming a bit smoother without needing powerful hardware. A quad-core i5 might not be strong enough for gaming right now or in the near future, though a 9700K could be a decent option if you manage to get a good price but I wouldn’t buy it at full cost.
