Absolutely, it's tough getting things in developing areas. Or maybe Amazon's shipping is a bit pricey compared to other options.

Think of a thermal right assassin spirit—it's budget-friendly and much better than the spire.

I understand, though it's not available in my country either. Thermalright hasn't made it to the market yet. Amazon seems a bit unreliable.

I checked the details of your cooler and discovered the smaller model is Deepcool AK400 Zero in dark. It should work fine for your needs.

Undoubtedly, the AK400 performs well as a cooler.

Assuming it's the Wraith Spire, it meets most BAU needs on a 105W TDP setup (verified with my 2700X), though a slight overclock and prolonged stress made it waver, especially after six months of dust buildup. It handled the load well but neared its limit—likely around 115W. Even the 105W 5800X3D should perform adequately for gaming, but expect challenges under heavy sustained testing, particularly if the case and GPU get hot together. The 65W 5700X should work nicely, thanks to its efficiency.

Even a well-worn Socket 939 Opteron cooler would fit this chip and mount securely. All Wraith coolers stem from the original blueprint, and these vintage models use copper construction, unlike some newer aluminum ones. Because older Opterons were designed for server environments (they’re power-hungry 110W chips), they should handle the load adequately—provided you locate one. I’m currently using an IceGiant cooler on an AM4 socket, but I really doubt you’ll find a comparable unit there. If you could, it would likely be quite pricey. EDIT: Some older coolers might not fit properly when secured, and if they’re too loose, they won’t work. Keep in mind, I’m not recommending you buy an old Opty cooler unless you have no other options and it’s extremely affordable.**

I mentioned I won’t be handling any overclocking. At least with a stock cooler and a 550W PSU it should work fine—it’s either the old stock cooler or the AK400 from Deepcool. I’ll check when I get the parts.

I'm holding out for offers but I could jump in just to be sure. After all, why invest in a top CPU if you can pair it with a less powerful cooler?

Opteron... it’s a nostalgic trip! I once had one running at 165 MHz (1.8GHz). You could tweak the memory speeds to hit 2.7GHz and lower the HT ratio to maintain around 1GHz, with just the CPU being overclocked. It was a server-class chip, so it came with a huge amount of L2 cache compared to what was common back then. The downside was my motherboard only supported 2GB RAM, which limited its use. Eventually, I stopped using it because the RAM limit became an issue. But I kept it running as my NAS CPU for another five years after switching to C2Q CPUs. I lowered the clock speed to 2.25GHz and undervolted it, achieving about 40°C on an EVO120 with the fan set to around 300 RPM. It was quiet, efficient, and still powerful. Even though I haven’t used it in about five years, it’s still in my possession—though it would be around 20 years old now!
