I'm attempting to switch from Win 7 to Windows 10 on an SSD with an HDD, but the Z390 chipset doesn't support Windows 7 USB. I have no mouse or keyboard, and BIOS and a Windows 10 installation media work. I need to avoid a full reinstall and upgrade without installing fresh media. My old system might still be functional, though I suspect a CPU pin was damaged. I'm wondering if it's possible to use my existing drive in another compatible PC and then transfer the OS. If so, please outline the necessary steps. Thank you.

Complete the installation by selecting "Update" and then "Win 10 USB."

I described some approaches here. The page moves to the final comment, so check earlier posts as well. (I’m now on a phone, making link updates tricky.)
