Another Windows 10 inquiry. Do you know if this will work and provide a genuine copy of the operating system?

I tried that method, couldn't turn it on manually, but now it works automatically. Short version: it functions.

Are you sure it was used on the main rig? You seem to be a bold, bold individual.

Yep. It'd take me all of 15 minutes to go back to 8.1 using install media if I so wanted to and all of my important data is backed up. Don't see why so many enthusiasts are so frightened of trying new software - the more people who use it and report flaws, the quicker it'll be fixed so it is worthy of being used as a daily driver machine. As I work in IT support professionally, it's up to me to ensure I am up to date with what I can support. If we stock laptops for end users on Windows 10 and I can't tell them or show them how to change their keyboard lay out, why should I be allowed to keep my job?

I'm a retail worker who quickly got promoted for the same reason. Things are already tough with some coworkers getting tricked by false info and sharing it widely. Microsoft is going to make you pay after a year of using Windows 10, or they'll lock your computer until you hand over the money. <- This is my daily reality.

That's exactly what happened. The amount of individuals I had to address since they noticed the Windows logo on their clocks and were upset about issues like Illuminati, privacy, and similar topics... it's frustrating. It really shows how important staying informed is.

The local population is evenly divided between the younger tech-savvy crowd and the older, more traditional group. The younger generation accepts little assistance, while the older ones rely heavily on guidance. It’s an issue when someone claims Microsoft is trying to take advantage of them simply because they prefer Apple products. Fortunately, our boss is well-versed in technology and understands the strengths of both Windows and macOS, so he manages to address the situation effectively.

1. "Install media" refers to setting up or adding digital content to a device.
2. The method of communication depends on the situation—either through phone calls, home visits, or working from a shop.
