Earlier today I tried to revert my Windows 11 to version 10, but the system kept restarting in a continuous loop. It repeatedly displays the message about restoring my previous version and then crashes with a service error. After restarting, the cycle repeats indefinitely. I’ve been stuck in this pattern for the past 24 hours with no improvement. I can’t open Windows to run any diagnostics needed for a crash. I’ve used Automatic Repair and reset options, but both failed to fix the issue. The problem persists even though my C and G drives appear swapped. I can’t modify startup settings or boot from an ISO, as it just loops back to the same problem. I’m concerned about losing data and would appreciate any guidance. Thanks ahead. Specs: Windows 11 64-bit, originally from USB, license tied to Microsoft account. System is about 4 years old. CPU: Intel 8600k, Video Card: GTX 1080, Motherboard: Gigabyte.

If reinstalling Windows isn't working and your data is at risk, visit a data recovery center to restore it. Consider using a fresh Windows installation from a clean source. I faced similar problems where updates would fail or cause crashes, so I restored an older stable version and it worked. If you're frustrated with Windows, a clean reinstall is much easier and less stressful.

This PC is designed for general use rather than gaming. If you prefer a non-gaming OS, Linux Mint Cinnamon could work well. You can install themes to customize the appearance. On Windows, professional software is available for free, but Linux offers similar functionality with different file structures and advanced settings. For backing up your files, consider using a Live OS to copy them to an external drive.
