I purchased an OEM license for Win10 Pro, but the key isn’t valid for upgrading from Home to Pro. It’s not perfect since it requires a complete reinstall. I’m unsure how to enter the code during setup.

Check out the guide at the link provided. Carry out the instructions, and when asked for the new product key, enter it and you’ll be all set.

Thank you for the update. I applied the change product key in settings, but it still shows an error about the key not being valid for this Windows version. After restarting, a Windows update was triggered to unlock the Pro features. When I revisited settings, it indicated the wrong Windows version was active, so I re-entered the key. Now I’m running Windows 10 Pro successfully.
